Frequently Asked Questions

Q Why should I use a professional pet sitter?
A Using a professional pet sitter has many advantages for both the pet and the owner. For the pet they include: most importantly the pet receives personal attention, the pet remains in his/her familiar, secure environment, where the sounds and sights are the same. The pet is kept on customary diet and exercise routine. The pet is not exposed to any illness from other animals at a boarding facility. For the owners: your healthy, happy pet is awaiting your return home, you don't have to worry about times in which you can drop off or pick up your animal, and you don't have to impose on family or friends.

Q How much advance notice do you need?
A For overnight pet sitting 3-4 weeks notice is required, because this service fills up fast. It should be noted that our overnight stays are reserved for the elderly pets and pets who require constant care and/or medicines. For routine visits, generally 1 week notice is sufficient; however, for holidays, scheduling early is better so that we save space in our schedule for your pet(s)

Q How many visits will my animal get a day?
A For dogs, we require a minimum two visits per day. For cats, depending on their needs, it is best to schedule at least one visit per day.

Q How do I go about scheduling you to pet sit?
A You can contact us via e-mail (click on the link) or telephone at (330)-723-8228 critters keeper mail

Q What are your rates?
A The rates vary depending on number of animals, and requirements of the job. Our rates are below the national average, dependent upon the work involved. Our overnight fee is $35.00, a separate charge, in addition to let outs/feeding charges.

Q What does the initial consultation consist of?
A The initial consultation is a meeting that we set up so that we can meet your pet(s) and go over the daily routine. Most importantly it is a time in which your pet(s) can meet us.

Note: There is a $5.00 key pick up charge if key is not available at the time of the initial consultation.
