Puppies were born March 22nd, 2008...Mom--Journey (Sunshine's Enjoy The Journey) Male puppy is Jaunt ( a little journey) and female, Venture (to take risks or be daring) Dad (Sunshine's Chances Are)is a CH. in 3 countries and recently came out of retirement to win the Best in Veterans Class at a Cocker Spaniel Specialty. They are now 9 weeks old and have been nicknamed "the Shredders"--They started with newspapers and have moved on to gardens. The Primroses and Hastas have been nearly wiped out in one garden. They have now discovered toes!!! We are beginning to be worried for our well being!!!
Using puppy tests(for stress and neurological development) along the way since birth have made these pups able to be well ahead of their age. They are leash trained, groom trained, know "sit", are well socialized, and are nearly house trained.

Our largest family is Paul & Gloria's retired Greyhounds. In order left to right are Slate, Faith, Amy, Lance, Blue and Vicki. Sandy cares for the six greyhounds when Paul and Gloria are away. Little did Sandy know the real meaning of "goosing" and "body slamming" until she got to know these wonderful dogs. The newest edition to this family is "Blue". Gloria and Paul rescued Blue from Texas in December.

Born to "Cocoa" a brown Newfoundland on 12/27/05. Here's what Karyl has to say:I don't think Sandy knew what "Tons of Loving" was till she stayed at my house and took care of my kennel with my 10 Newfoundlands. She walked right in the kennel runs as if she knew they were only there to give her bunches of kisses and not eat her up. I think they all bonded right away. Anyone who knows Newfs knows how loving and gentle they can be.
When we went on vacation I think it was the first time I could relax and not worry about my dogs being taken care of as if I were there doing the job.
This is our new litter of Newfie pups born on Dec. 27th. to Cocoa my brown Newf. The only one missing on the ledge is the little brown male, I think he is camera shy.
